Landmark Medical Center is an acute care community hospital offering a full range of services to include emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, psychiatric, and obstetric care. Landmark is l! ocated in northern RI, just 20 minutes north of Providence and approximately 50 minutes south of Boston .

We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner. Responsible for developing and/or implementing patient centered services that address patients’ clinical, social, and emotional needs. Coordinate with nurse manager on the OB Delivery floor to provide patient and family support. Ensure clinical services are coordinated with other LMC departments. Triages patients and develops own patient panel. Identifies, develops and monitors programmatic activities/services, includes writing and developing procedures, policies and guidelines for implementation of such activities.

1. Responsible for the implementation of support services and protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
2. Assists in the development of practice standards for access to care and communication, client tracking, care management, client self-management support, perfor! mance reporting and improvement.
3. Assists in the develop! ment and maintenance of risk management and risk reduction systems.
4. Develops and conducts quality improvement initiatives.
5. Acts as physician extender. Documents and bills accurately and appropriately.
6. Stays abreast of developments in women’s health.
7. Works closely with Site Coordinator.
8. Reports to Medical Director.

Background: Nurse Practitioner with Rhode Island license. Must have 3-5 years of experience with progressive responsibility within women’s health or medical clinic setting.
