2 years med/surg experiencem BLS, lethal arrhythmia re! cognition. At least one year hemodialysis experience. Prefer knowledge of hospital based acute dialysis, familiarity with Fresenius 2008 machines. ICU experience a plus. Certification as CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) a plus.
The role of the renal-dialysis / dialysis nurse (dialysis RN) is to provide care for patients undergoing dialysis procedures, reviewing patient data and making recommendations to the physician for care. The Dialysis RN is also responsible for initiating a plan of care based on a patient’s specific needs, while also providing education to patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
2 years med/surg experiencem BLS, lethal arrhythmia recognition. At least one year hemodialysis experience. Prefer knowledge of hospital based acute dialysis, familiarity with Fresenius 2008 machines. ICU experience a plus. Certification as CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) a plus.
