Description: Rhode Island Hospital is in need of Clinical Educator right now, this occupation will be placed in Rhode Island. The Clinical Educator is responsible to the Director for the Center of Practice Excellence and has 24-hour responsibility for planning and evaluating innovative patient care practices, staff development and research activities within the nursing department. This person participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient and professional programs.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in another state that participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience with demonstrated teaching/leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
