The Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College (RINIMC) is currently accepting applications for a highly effective science teacher. RINIMC is a public Charter High School offering a unique and challenging opportunity for Rhode Island high school students to pursue a career in nursing and healthcare. The Middle ! College includes grades 10 through 12 with an additional "12 P! lus" year designed to provide rigorous academic preparation and to acclimate students to a college learning environment.
The program of study is designed to prepare students for a high school diploma, to earn a Certified Nursing Assistant’s (CNA) license, and be accepted into and graduate from an accredited nursing college program with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Nursing (BSN). RINIMC is located in a vibrant college district of downtown Providence at 150 Washington Street with an adjacent campus at 335 Westminister Street, Providence, RI.Duties: -Prepare and implement well-organized, rigorous, and relevant curricula to engage students as critical thinkers and problem solvers. -Differentiate instruction using available technologies and a wide variety of instructional strategies to address the learning needs of all students.-Demonstrate a commitment to life-long learning through individual learning, reflection and professional growth. -Communicate effectively ! with students, colleagues, and families and contribute to our positive learning environment.-Model the professional behavior and expectations of our learning community.
