Description: Cumberland School Department is at present recruited Substitute School Nurse Teacher right now, this position will be placed in Rhode Island. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Provides health care services to students; plans school health program, in cooperation with medical authority and administrative school perso! nnel. Participates in medical examinations and reviews findings to evaluate health status of student and progress of program. Establishes nursing policies to meet emergencies. Cooperates with school personnel in identifying and meeting social, emotional, and physical needs of students.
Provides first aid and maintains health records of students. Works with community agencies in planning facilities to meet needs of students outside school situation. Teaches Health Education by instructing students by using various teaching methods, such as lecture and demonstration, and uses audiovisual aides and other materials to supplement presentations.Certification by the RIDE as a School Nurse Teacher required.
