Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plan
- Treating each resident with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs, and encouraging independence
- Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartment
- Recording and reporting a change in resident’s eating habits to supervisor
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have current and valid Medication Aide or Technician Certi! fication in the state of RI
- One or more years of experience
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Must have flexibility with schedule
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
