Staff Instructor (Perinatal)

Location: Providence Rhode Island

Description: Women & Infants is hiring Staff Instructor (Perinatal) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Rhode Island. The Perinatal Staff instructor is responsible for the orientation and on-going education for staff that care for obstetric patients. Other responsibilities include staff development of clinical skills to meet the ever-changing needs of our patient population, serve as a clinical resource, and participate in hospital-wide education initiatives as well as some committee involvement. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred; BS with work-in-progress toward MS degree acceptable. Must have current licensure in the State of Rhode Island with 5-7 years with high risk obstetric experience. Must have and maintain certifications required for clinical area, which may include NRP instructor, ACLS Certified required, CPR instructor (required within 6 months), IV/Venapuncture Certified. Teaching experience and critical care experience highly desirable.
