Description: Care New England Health System is at present looking to employ Staff Instructor-(Mother/Baby) right now, this job will be placed in Rhode Island. The Mother/Baby staff instructor is responsible for the orientation and on-going adult and infant education for staff that care for mothers and newborns. Other responsibilities include staff development of clinical skills to meet the ever-changing needs of our patient population, serve as a clinical resource, and participate in hospital-wide education initiatives as well as some committee involvement.
Required Education Master's Degree in Nursing preferred; BS with work-in-progress toward MS degree acceptable. Must have current licensure in the State of Rhode Island with 5-7 years in mother baby required, LDRP preferred. Must have and maintain certifications required for clinical area, which may include NRP instructor, ACLS Certified, CPR instructor (required within 6 months), IV/Venapuncture Certified. Teaching experience and critical care experience highly desirable.
