The Cardiovascular Service Team in Westerly, RI is in search for a Cardiology Clinical Analyst. This position is based in Westerly, RI.

Basic Purpose:
The main focus of this role is to assess clinical safety risk for incidents and problems of failures in the delivery of our IT products and services to our customer install base. This position works closely with the Service Team as the Clinical Expert to identify Clinical Safety for our IT products through Health Hazard Evaluations (HHE). This Clinical Analyst will play a key role within service by reviewing aged incidents to assist the Problem Analyst in assessing missing clinical analysis requiring; Relationships to known problems, trending of problems and new potential problems.

This position may be based out of the following location(s) and surrounding areas:

Westerly, RI

Responsibilities:
This Analyst will review Support issues representing events that may have a potential clinical risk and/or are potentially Medical Device Reporting (MDR) reportable must be promptly reviewed, evaluated, and investigated by designated clinical analysts within the support organization.

The individual will focus on potential or actual risk analysis with the support incident handler or problem analysts and appropriate customer contacts for clinical evaluation. The Clinical Analyst will own and drive the Health Hazard Evaluation (HHE) until a decision has been made. The incumbent will also provide clinical input into any Medical device recalls, or Removal and Correction plans as it relates to the Health Hazard Evaluation.

The incumbent is to follow through with Problem Management, accurately assessing the severity and frequency of the problem attending the respective Product Quality Review Team (PQRT) meetings ensuring the proper software solution is provided.

The documentation of problems within Service Bulletins or Known Error Articles is a key aspect of the role is the education of Agfa support team members is a critical aspect of the role. The incumbent must possess strong clinical domain experience in either Radiology or invasive or non invasive cardiology.

Qualifications:
The Clinical Analyst Qualified for this Role will have the following credentials:

Degree/ License /Certification one of the cardiology speciality: CCU Nurse, Adult/ Ped Echo, Nuclear, CT, Cath, Vascular Ultrasound. 5+ years work experience in a Cardio Clinical environment 5+ yrs of hands-on experience with the implementation and support in structured reporting systems in Cardiology environments. Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes and Intranet based knowledge management Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills Proven organizational and time management skills Demonstrated experience adapting to change Strong customer service orientation, interacting with both internal and external customers
