Wherever they call home, we’re there! Night Call Nurse Per Diem, Temporary Assignment 6:00 pm â€" 8:00 am weekdays Description : The Night Call Nurse responds to night time incoming Agency calls from patients/family members, referral sources and other calls which cannot be held during office hours. Responds with telephone intervention and/or makes home visits to assess and resolve medical issues being experienced by patients during night time hours.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Rhode Island and Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Registered Nurse
- Home Health experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes per patient schedule and agency needs
- Knowledgeable of registered nurse practices and procedures based on state practice acts
- Ability to make independent clinical decisions
