Summary: The certified nursing assistant assists the registered nurse in providing care for a defined group of patients under the direction of the RN. He / She provides nursing care to promote recovery, prevent illness and assist patients and families to reach optimal health. Education: High School education or equivalent is preferred. Must have a current Rhode Island CNA license. Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year in an acute care setting. Basic Life Support certification required.
