Seeking Certified Secondary Math and Special Education Teacher to join an exciting team of education professionals at The Providence Center School. Known throughout the state for its ability to successfully work with students with acute behavioral and emotional issues, TPCS is a fully licensed special needs school serving children in grades pre-K through 12. Students are taught by a comprehensive team of professionals made up of special education teachers, teaching assistants, and master's-level clinical therapists. Each student's unique academic, social, therapeutic, and mental health needs, are addressed in a collaborative team environment.

We have the following position open: Secondary Math and Special Education Teacher Secondary level teaching position as part of a high school team currently serving an average of 45-50 students with emotional and behavioral issues. Design and implement Individual Education Plans and classroom programming that will be responsive to the academic and therapeutic challenges of individual students. Responsible for an IEP case load of approximately 8-12 students. Teacher must be “highly qualified” with RI certification in Secondary Math and in Special Education, secondary mild to moderate is required.

3 years prior special education or clinical experience preferred.
