Description: Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island is currently interviewing RN right now, this career will be placed in Rhode Island. The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) or Senior Team Leader - is responsible for all nursing care from admission through discharge. The RN assesses the patients and develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care fo! r assigned patients and families. Provision of care by the RN includes delivery of direct care as well as accountability for appropriateness of nursing care delivered by licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. All aspects of patient care and the patient's response to care are documented according to established policies and procedures. The RN communicates in a professional manner, providing pertinent information to other staff members and patients/families, including necessary education required for patient care. Performs related duties as required.

Hours: 80 bi-weekly
Shifts: 2 nd shift 3PM-11PM
Education: Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing required.
License: Current RI RN license required
Experience: Previous RN experience within the specialty required.Med-Surg or Critical Care experience required.

Special Qualifications: Knowledge of current nursing practices, knowle! dge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and psychosocial science! s related to various ages, skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making, skills in planning, organizing, and priority setting, ability to implement all components of the nursing process, ability to identify learning needs and teach patients and families, ability to communicate, collaborate, and delegate effectively, self motivation, commitment to continuing education and self improvement, professional accountability.
