These include: gastrointestinal endoscopes, accessories, and minimally invasive surgical products; advanced clinical and research microscopes.

Position Description:
Providence, RI - The Associate Sales Representative - Endoscopy will work in conjunction with the Endoscopy Account Manager (EAM) and Regional Vice President (RVP) to sell EndoTherapy and Endoscopy products in targeted accounts; primarily ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), community hospitals with leverage selling opportunities, and other account targets as directed by the RVP. Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed Sales quota in assigned targeted accounts.
  • Adhere to Oly! mpus policies and code of conduct in an ethical manner.
  • Work in collaboration with the EAM to develop and implement territory business plans designed to achieve Sales quota assigned targeted accounts.
  • Drive Core GI EndoTherapy product utilization and demand in accounts with committed agreements/contracts.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with customers that have an existing contract agreement to ensure contract compliance.
  • Support ongoing product training and in-servicing of Core GI EndoTherapy products during procedures and in-between cases with physicians, nurses, and technicians.
  • Support EAM on new capital/service deals and act as the clinical expert of EndoTherapy devices to help drive Sales.
  • Build and maintain sustainable strategic relationships in targeted accounts (clinical and non clinical customers).
  • Communicate market intelligence to the EAM and Marketing department of competitor’s new product offering, pricing strategy, and merchandising practices in the ass! igned territory.
  • Complete and submit all administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (CRM, expense reports, and PTO).
  • Attend and participate in Sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed by the AVPs and home office.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of Olympus’s product offerings, competitors, and local market changes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

  • A minimum of 8 months as a Medical Systems Group Endoscopy Associate Sales Representative II or equivalent Olympus Sales experience, meeting or exceeding all performance expectations is required; or a minimum of 3 years of external Sales experience is required.
  • Sales experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Must have a proven track record of success.
  • Must be open t! o relocation after completion of the Associate Sales Representative pro! gram.
  • Clinical, pharmaceutical, or medical device experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written skills are necessary.
  • Must be organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Must have high-energy, excellent work ethic, and be both reliable and positive.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry equipment over 40 pounds.
  • The ability to travel within territory on a daily basis is required.
  • The ability to travel outside territory within region occasionally is required.
  • The following physical demands are required:
  • Frequently Lift/Carry 25 pounds
  • Bend/Stoop/Kneel 2 hours a day
  • Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours a day
  • Operate moving vehicles
  • Frequently Push/Pull 50+ pounds
