Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for initial credentialing/! re-credentialing nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physicians employed by MinuteClinic in compliance with Credential Program Policy and Procedure. In addition, the ability to manage changing priorities as well as manage Expirable licensure and compliance monitoring in accordance with Joint Commission, NCQA, and URAC standards is required.

• Credential and re-credential Nurse Practitioners,Physician Assistants and Physicians in accordance with the MinuteClinic Provider Credentialing Program
• Monitor Expirable licensure and maintain communication with providers in advance of expirations to ensure renewal in a timely manner, escalating to team manager and field management as appropriate
• Conduct sanctions and compliance monitoring and alert Credentialing Manager and Revenue Director of any undisclosed negative findings
• Ensure timely payer applications are submitted for each provider to mitigate financial impacts to the busi! ness
• Respond to all payer inquiries in a timely manne! r
• Assist in resolving payer claims issues in corporate billing system
• Make recommendations for process improvement and system efficiencies Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years experience in the healthcare industry with experience in credentialing Demonstrated understanding on initial credentialing and re-credentialing practices for medical professionals including primary source verification methods, compliance monitoring and Expirable management Understanding of credentialing Joint Commission, NCQA, and URAC accreditation standards Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask Competent user of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to function independently to accomplish goals and objectiv Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification preferred Bachelor’s ! degree in Business Administration or related area preferred Education:
High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area preferred Business Overview:
