We are recruiting for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the G! eriatric Psychiatric inpatient unit of a well-respected, full-service community hospital in Rhode Island. The overall unit is a 60-bed unit, with 30 adult beds, 20 geriatric , and a 10-12 bed Intensive Treatment Unit. The hospital also has a 7-8 out-patient/partial-day program that is growing. Average length of stay on the in-patient side is 10 to 14 days; as for the average census: the adult unit is full; geriatric runs 10-15 patients, and the ITU runs 8.
