Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist

Description: MedOptions is at present recruited Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist right now, this job will be placed in Rhode Island. We are seeking part-time (minimum 4 hours/week) and full-time (32 hours/week or more) psychiatrists to join our company to provide quality patient care to older adults in nursing homes! and assisted living facilities.
MedOptions is setting standards of care for psychiatric and dementia services in skilled nursing, sub acute rehab and assisted living facilities. Our clients depend on MedOptions’ clinicians to provide consistent care to their residents so therefore, we are looking for psychiatrists who want a part-time or full-time position and are committed to MedOptions and the facilities they service.
Our psychiatrists collaborate with nurse practitioners and together, you will work with the psychologists and clinical social workers to provide pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

Qualified candidates will have the following:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university
Completed a psychiatry residency
An unrestricted state medical license
State controlled substance! and DEA numbers
Experience working with geriatrics; ! prior long-term care experience helpful but not required
