Blackstone Valley Prep (BVP) Mayoral Academy is a network of high expectations, tuition-free public charter schools serving the hardest working scholars in Rhode Island. BVP’s mission is to put every scholar on a path to college. Selected by lottery, BVP recruits scholars from Central Falls, Cumberland, Lincoln and Pawtucket.
Serving both urban and suburban districts, our scholars represent the diversity of the area--43 percent speak a language other than English at home, 63 percent are receiving free or reduced lunch, 55 percent are Black or Latino and 100 percent are now college bound. Blackstone Valley Prep is looking for full-time school nurse teacher and daily substitute nurses team members who are mission aligned.
